Victorian Palace Card

I wanted to make a nice thank you card for Misty from shabbybeautiful on youtube.  I had purchased this beautiful floral image from her and low and behold I was entered in a drawing to win a prize by doing so. I happened to be the winner on the video for the Fairy Album and she sent me this box full of flowers as a prize.  I was so grateful I wanted to make a thank you card for Misty using the products I got from her.
For this card I wanted the look of a Victorian Palace.

I first embossed some Cream Recollections card stock with a 5x7 cuttlebug embossing folder from the Decorative Tile pack. I got some beautiful fabric from Joanne's to compliment the background.  I wanted to frame the lovely image I got from Misty so of corse I reached for one of my favorite spellbinders Antique Frame and Accents frame die and  polished it off with some Antique Gold rub n buff.

I stamped the words "With Gratitude" using the justrite Elegant Charms stamps onto the image using the jellybean stamp pad from MFT.  I added 3 different flowers from Misty's cream assortment.  Let me tell you what a deal you get with one of her lovely assortment boxes.  There are 7 different flowers and you get 10 of each, all packaged in a lovely box that is easy to store.  I actually took apart a smaller rose to make the rose buds on the sides.  I added the rub n buff to them which gave them that antique look I was going for.  I sprayed some cream seam binding with Lindy's Stamp Gang Cactus Gold (i still have an older bottle) to get some sparkle and crinkle.  I also sprayed a little all over the card when all assembled.  Finished the card off with a tiny green chipboard key Misty included in the delivery as a sample (she is so giving) and rubbed some rub n buff on that as well.  I rubbed some rub n buff on the edges of the cream card stock card and then adhered the finished card front. I didn't want to use pop dots on the frame because I didnt' want to make it too dimensional.  Well the pictures don't do justice for the real life beauty of this card sorry for that.  Hope you all check out Misty's Zibbet store and youtube videos.
